How do I reserve a rental?

Send us your required dates and we will give you options and prices. In most cases AC is additional and not included in the rental price. Once you decide on a rental we will reserve it and send you a Rental Confirmation with the rental details. We ask for a 50% deposit within 24 hours and the balance is payable upon arrival in cash – USD or pesos. Most rental owners are using Banamex for the exchange rate. We accept payment via PayPal, Xoom, Western Union, or a bank to bank money transfer.

What if I have to cancel?

Our cancellation policy is we will return 70% of your deposit if we can re-rent the dates that you canceled. Remember, we are not a hotel where we can easily re-rent last minute spaces. Most of our reservations are done well in advance via the Internet. We don’t do a lot of walk-in rentals.

How do I get to the property?

We will send you specific check in instructions and map for your rental a couple weeks prior to your arrival. Most rentals have a lock box or coded door entry. We will include the codes as part of your check in instructions. You will taxi to the property with the address that is given the Rental Confirmation. Our contact information is provided on the Rental Confirmation and check in instructions should you need assistance getting into the rental.

Do I need pesos?

Around town it is best to have pesos for payment. A handful of the larger restaurants and stores will take USD. Ripped bills are not accepted in any currency so make sure your bills are in good condition.

Are credit cards accepted?

A handful of places do accept credit cards. It is best to have cash in pesos available.

Are there ATMs?
Yes, there are a number of ATM machines around town. Most are in the central area of town. You get a good exchange rate via the ATM machine. It is good to have a back up option in case your card is lost or the machine “eats” it.
